KELLY, STEVEN WALTON Steven Walton Kelly went home to worship our Lord, who he was proud to serve in life, on January 29, 2015. Steve was born in San Francisco, CA on May 8, 1951 and graduated from Highland High School in 1969. He served in the United States Army from 1971-1979, which took him on adventures all over the world. Despite his military accomplishments, Steve was most proud of his family. He leaves behind two lovely daughters, Amy Kelly and April Kelly-Lotz and husband Stephen, his never-quite-adopted daughter, Stephanie Sprouse, as well as two step-children, Mandy Renteria and husband Ismael, and Faron Shetter, Jr. He delighted in every second he was able to spend with his five grandchildren; James, Samantha and fiance Evan Drake, Johnathon, Steven and wife Alexa, and Matthew, one great-granddaughter, Raiden and his step-granddaughter, Liliana. This Saturday, January 31st would have been his seventeenth wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife, Gina Marie Kelly, who stood by his side with grace and compassion, even through the toughest of days. Steve spent his final days on Earth surrounded by love, laughter, Neil Diamond, and his loving family, including his brothers Jerry Kelly and wife Sandra, Mike Kelly and wife Ruth, sisters Linda Goff and husband Russell, Leslie Hutz and husband John, and Tracy Kapple and husband Kirk. Steve ended his journey in the arms of his daughter, April and his wife, Gina. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel, with a reception immediately following. Private Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday.
