VANDERWALL, DONNA LEE Donna Lee Vanderwall, age 79, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, moved to her permanent home with the Lord Sunday, January 25, 2015 while surrounded by loving family. Donna was born on September 19, 1935 to Lawrence and Maurine Staab in Lincoln, Nebraska. Marrying and moving to Southern California, she began her career with the telephone company from which she retired early from a management position in 1981 and began a second career. After attending school, she obtained her therapist license, and began this second career as a family therapist. Retiring again in 2000, she bought a large farm in Tennessee, which she developed for a season of her life before retiring the third time and moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico to be near family. She spent the last three years of her life volunteering in her church, counseling as a chaplain, teaching classes, developing programs and demonstrating how a life spent for others is the most joyful of all. Celebration of her life will be 3pm on Friday, January 30th, at Calvary Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd NE, ABQ with Skip Heitzig officiating.
