UNDERWOOD, SIBYL B. Sibyl B. Underwood, 102, a resident of Albuquerque since 1936, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015. She was "God's greatest earthly gift to man, a loyal and loving wife." Sibyl was preceded in death by her husband of 79 years, W. R. "Dub" Underwood, Jr., and her parents, Robert Lee and Ethel Mae Baley. She is survived by her niece, Marie Martin, of Yuma, AZ, and many close friends in Albuquerque, NM. Mrs. Underwood worked as a school teacher in Spearman, TX in the 1930's. She also worked as a legal secretary and partnered with her husband in their consulting engineering practice for 15 years. Sibyl was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church. Services will be held, Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pastor John Emery will officiate. Entombment will follow.
