MAZURANICH, JOHN "JOE" Age 88, joined his wife, Erlene, in heaven January 25, 2015. He is survived by his sons, Bruce Mazuranich (Luanna) of Belgrade, MT, Glen Mazuranich (Jo) of Los Alamos, NM, Devin Mazuranich (Cathy) of Albuquerque, NM; and his daughter, Nita Brenholdt (Jim) of Bosque Farms, NM. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Justin and Lauren Mazuranich, Lonnie (Kim) and Lena Mazuranich, Jason and Sara Brenholdt, Jared Coriz; and great-grandchildren, Bradyn and Madison Mazuranich and his brother, Phil Mazuranich (Marlene), MT. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Mazuranich (MT); his wife, Erlene, and his grandson, Clinton Mazuranich (AZ). Joe served with the US Army's 81st Infantry Division in the South Pacific during WWII. He graduated from Montana State College with a degree in Biology focusing on fisheries. He worked at numerous fish hatcheries throughout the United States. He retired from the US Fish & Wildlife Service after 33 Years. He was active in the BPOE Elks Lodge #461 as Exhaulted Ruler and served on many Elk's committees. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, and trap shooting. He was a beloved husband, dad, grampa, and friend. His Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 30, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
