WILSON, WILLIAM, "BILL" Age 88, died January 3, 2015, He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth Webb Wilson, his daughter Diane Shuttlesworth and husband Lynn of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren Jennifer Lynn Shuttlesworth of Austin, Shane Bryan Shuttlesworth and wife Heather of Lubbock and Ryan Scott Shuttlesworth and wife Shannon of Lubbock; great-grandchildren Brooklyn Elizabeth, Kingston Ryan and Major Beckett; and many other family and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents William and Murial and his sister Pat Holzapfel. He served our country during WW II in the United States Navy. He attended The Ohio State University. Mr Wilson was very active in the Albuquerque Community as well as the University of New Mexico athletics, especially the Lobo Club. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Sandia Presbyterian Church , 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE. Private burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery will take place in the near future. Memorial contributions may be made to Sandia Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
