CORTEZ, LITA Lita Cortez, 79, was reunited with her two daughters in heaven on January 1, 2015. She is survived by her husband Richard Cortez; two sons, Mike and wife Martha Cortez, Rick Cortez, daughter in law Tina Cortez; five grandchildren, Noah and wife Marisela, Michelle and fiance Ray, Tabatha, Miranda and husband Ricardo, and Chasity and boyfriend Lawrence; nine great grandchildren, Alexa Rae, Lunati, Kylia, Cesiah, Mikki, Kiyoko, Mia, Uriah, and Chloe; four sisters, Simona, Mary Lou, Linda, and Mary Esther; three brothers, Louie, Edward, and Robert and wife Claudia; as well as a number of nieces and nephews and loving family and friends. Lita was a dedicated parishioner at St. Annes Catholic Church. She served on the alter and rosary committee, and blessed everyone by singing on the church choir. Lita loved her family and enjoyed working in her backyard and playing with her grandchildren. Lita's love was felt by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Mass will be celebrated at 9am Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Annes Catholic Church (1400 Arenal S.W. Albuquerque, NM 87105). Burial will follow the Mass at Mt.
