STANLEY, NEWBERN "NC" NC was born November 19, 1938 in Clintwood VA and passed away after battling cancer for two years, on Monday December 8, 2014 at 8:00pm at his home in Albuquerque. He was surrounded by his family who loved him dearly and will miss him. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Kenova and Maggie Stanley, brothers and sisters, Lydia Yates, Ira, Edward, Roosevelt and Clyde Stanley. He is survived by wife of 50 years, Saundra D Stanley; his brothers and sisters, Paul, Cecil, Hugh, Virginia Villani, Nina Delany, Banner Stanley; and many nieces and nephews; children, Audrey (Penny) Huss, Newbern (Chuck) Stanley Jr. Greg Stanley, Becky Sharma, Reggie Abel, Debra Mattingly; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He relocated to Albuquerque in 1984 and started Amco Roofing. He was a proud member of the Masonic and Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple since 1979. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, 6600 Zuni SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 on January 24, 2015. Flowers are welcome or donations would be greatly appreciated to Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple and/or Mesa Lodge #68 in Memory of Newbern Stanley.
