BERTRAM, MICHAEL J. CT01 (SW) USN, RETIRED Michael passed away on December 12, 2014 after complications from a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his mother Lana. Michael was born on February 17, 1959. He served his country in the United States Navy during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, retiring after 20 years of service in 1996. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Isabel; daughters Barbara and Terri; sons, Dennis and Ralph; two grandsons; five granddaughters. Also survived by his father Jim and wife; sister; brother and his wife; two nieces; two nephews; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two great-nephews and two great-nieces. Michael's wish was to have his ashes spread at sea in a military ceremony. Family is making arrangements to fulfill his final wishes.
