EKERN, MARY Born in Belen, NM on January 29, 1920 and passed into the loving arms of God our Father Sunday, October 26, 2014. Mary is survived by her husband, Bryce M. Ekern; her daughter, Pauline L. Chenette and husband Frank; grandson, Mark Chenette and wife Holly; granddaughter, Merilee Nelson and husband Neal; great grandson, Neil Altomare and wife Perri; great granddaughters, McKenna and Isabella Chenette; brother, Eloy Romero; sisters, Loren Salas and Chris Radosevich; sister-in-law, Geneva Ekern and family, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Leslie Dubois; sisters, Balconida Tafoya and Tomasita Trujillo. She was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior for many years. Mary's greatest love was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and visiting with her sisters Loren and Chris. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 with a Rosary to follow. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109. Her faith and her family were so important in her life.
