KENNEDY, MARGARET 1944-2014 Margaret "Kathy" Kennedy went to her permanent home with Jesus on October 16, 2014. Kathy was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 3rd, 1926. Kathy was the daughter of John K. and Alice M. (Potter) Collins of Dallas, Texas. She married Horace Kennedy Nov 19, 1944 and they raised six children. In addition to owning a business in Northern New Mexico, they spent 42 years in the ministry planting and building Churches. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice M. Collins; father, John K. Collins; brothers, J.K. Collins and Robert Collins; and sister, Geraldine Charles. Her life is being celebrated by her husband, Horace; six children; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; along with many friends and loved ones. Services will be held at New Life Fellowship Church, 1928 Fellowship Way, Belen, NM on Thursday, October 23 beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., with a celebration meal to follow. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, she had asked that donations be made to the New Life Fellowship Building Fund, P.O. Box 634 Belen, NM 87002.
