THELIN, CARL F. Age 84, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully September 16, 2014. Born January 20, 1930, he was the son of the late Carl Valfred and Vivan (Wallace) Thelin. Carl F. graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in engineering. Carl was an engineer with General Motors, Calspan, Consumer Reports Magazine and Wolf Technical Services as well as an expert witness in the field of automotive accident reconstruction and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. On September 5, 1954, Carl married Ramona (Kuhn). She preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are four children, Peter A. Thelin, and wife Susan, of California, Carl V. Thelin of Indianapolis and Virginia Weaver, and husband Dennis, of South Bend Indiana and Sara Thelin of Albuquerque New Mexico; as well as four grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Roger Thelin of Florida. Carl had a strong faith and was a supporter of Gideon's International.
