SCHAEFFER, ESTHER Age 93, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014. Esther is survived by her daughter Julia Poss and husband Roger of Colorado Springs, CO; son Mike Schaeffer and wife Cathy of Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law Donna Schaeffer of Sparks, NV; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Victor Schaeffer, and sons Charlie Schaeffer and William Schaeffer. Esther was born in Kingman, KS on October 28, 1920. She ran off with the love of her life Victor Schaeffer in 1938 to Dallas, TX before they planted roots in Albuquerque, NM in the early 1950's. Esther will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew her. In honor of Esther's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
