BRASUEL, LEONARD R. Leonard R. Brasuel died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Denver, Colo. He was 74 years old. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and grew up in many towns throughout the state, including Roy, Mills, Weed and Cuba where he graduated from high school. He lived most of his adult life in Denver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Margery Brasuel, and his brother, Murphy Brasuel. He is survived by his sister, Mary-Ethel (John) Foley; sister-in-law, Margaret Brasuel; six nieces and nephews, Margaret Foley, Nancy Foley, Lizzie Foley, and Ana Lucero; a nephew, Murphy G. Brasuel; six grandnephews; and two grandnieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Thrive Church, 2820 W 92nd. St., Federal Heights, Colo., 80260.
