JARAMILLO, EUGENE 1939-2014 Eugene Jaramillo, age 75, a longtime resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014, after enduring a long battle with illness. He was a graduate of Los Lunas High School and New Mexico State University, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and continued to pursue his Masters Degree. He worked for various engineering firms and later in life took care of the family farm. His passion was his work in genealogy and he had worked on family histories of many families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lupita Vigil Jaramillo. Eugene is survived by his loving siblings, Lillian Otero of Albuquerque, Vivian Jaramillo and wife, Judy of Mesa, AZ; Benny Jaramillo and wife, Bernadette, Fred Jaramillo and wife, Alma, and Sylvia Jaramillo all of Los Lunas. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, on Friday, September 19th beginning with a Viewing at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Valencia Catholic Cemetery.
