MELLOY, FERNANDA BETH Fernanda Beth Melloy Age 63, of Rio Rancho, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at a Rio Rancho hospital after a short illness. Beth was born on August 27, 1951 in New Bedford, MA to Alfred and Louise (Joaquin) Campos. She grew up and attended school in San Diego and came to New Mexico where she attended UNM and received a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse in the Albuquerque area for 28 years and most recently as a hospice nurse. She was an amazing artist with all different mediums, was a racer at Seven Flags Raceway, a volunteer firefighter at the fire station at Alameda and Fourth in Albuquerque. She was an accomplished astrologist and tarot reader and was very in tune with nature. She was a personal chef for many clients here in Albuquerque and in California. She is survived by her loving boyfriend Ruben Carrizales; children Nirvana Faccio of Taos, Fernando Ortega of Mesa, AZ, Thomas Melloy of Phoenix, AZ and Ben Melloy of Taos, NM; her grandchildren Brent, Denise, Araya, Angel and Nikolai; and great grandson Sebastian; sister Victoria Campos and brother Peter Campos and wife Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be planned at a later date.
