COTE, RAYMOND O. Born August 15, 1954, Age 60, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lydia Cote, his daughters; Melissa and Janelle Cote, his mother; Lupe Cote, his siblings; Connie Martinez, Jeanne Barrera, Frances Turrietta and husband, Acasio, Marie Visser and husband, Marlo, and Charles Cote. He also leaves behind many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond R. Cote. Raymond graduated from West Mesa High School in 1973. Afterward he served our country in the United States Air Force, later pursuing a career at GE followed by Sandia National Laboratories from which he retired. During his free time he enjoyed fishing, working on cars and fixing things. He had his scuba certification and enjoyed gardening, but most of all he loved his family. Friends and family are invited to funeral services at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Road NW, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 with a Rosary beginning at 10:15 am and Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will follow on Thursday, August 21 at 10:30 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jaime Castaneda, Acasio Turrietta, Marlo Visser, Manuel Barrera, Marcos Martinez, and Jim Henz.
