LOVATO-GARCIA, EVANGELINE was born October 20, 1933 and passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Evangeline was very religious and was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a very outgoing lady who loved to laugh, travel and enjoy time with her friends and family. Evangeline owned and operated multiple stores in Bernalillo, selling auto parts and western apparel. She was greatly loved and will be truly missed. Evangeline was preceded in death by her son, Edward Lovato and she is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Miguel Garcia; two daughters, Diana Schultz and husband Tom, Priscilla Norton and husband Robert; son, Paul Lovato and wife Julie; her step-children, Cynthia Ehmett and husband Tom, Johanna Heath and husband Mick, Kenneth Garcia, Briana Garcia and Shyann Trujillo and her husband John; eight grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Perea; three sisters, Lucille Leal, Dora Reams and Margaret Druilet and husband Ray; as well as many other family members and friends who are saddened by her passing. Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, New Mexico, on Saturday, August 2, 2014. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
