GARCIA, ANDREW F. We would like everyone to know that Mr. Garcia passed away the morning of Thursday, April 17, 2014 peacefully in his home, surrounded by family. Mr. Garcia was 90 years old and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by his children June Robles, Carol Garcia, Vicki Garcia (husband, Tim Jeffries), Andrea Garcia, Steve Garcia, Dan Garcia (wife, Norma), and Larayne Garcia; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; his sister, Carmen Salazar; and brother, Louie Garcia (wife, Francis); many nieces and nephews; companion, Candy Chavez; her children, Veronica (husband, Oscar Magallanes), Louie Chavez, Patricia Kerstein, and Doreen Chavez; her eight grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren and her two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Andrew Garcia and Candy's son, Philip Chavez. We know Mr. G would want us to continue his legacy and honor his memory by remembering him with a laugh and a smile through his family, friends, and customers. He is loved and will be missed always. Public Viewing will begin on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd. NW followed by a Public Visitation from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. followed by a Prayer Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sagebrush Community Church followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
