CORDOVA-MARTINEZ, CAROL J. Carol Cordova-Martinez, 54, went into the loving arms of our Lord on April 11, 2014. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend who dedicated her life to caring for her family and others. She retired from PNM in 2009 and started a new career with New Mexico Gas Company. She loved her work and always felt blessed because she got paid for doing what she loved, helping others. Carol is preceded in death by her mother and father, Joe L. and Esther Cordova, and brother, Joey Cordova. She is survived by her husband Chris; daughter Yvette Mendoza; son-in-law Sergio; grandson Dominic Lujan; brothers, Juan Montoya (Anna Martinez) and Jerry Cordova (Wendy); sisters Josephine Hinojos (Luis), Dee Ann Quintana (Kenny), Elizabeth Harrison, Antoinette Ross (Jim), and Kathy Felker (Paul); and multiple nieces and nephews; as well as her loyal companion and bodyguard, Sweetie Pie. Carol will be sorely missed, but will forever remain in our hearts and memories. Services will be held on Saturday, April 26th and will begin at 10:00am with the recitation of the Rosary, followed by the Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo (301 S. Camino del Pueblo) at 11:00am. Burial will take place privately.
