SHEALY, BYRON E. Byron E. Shealy passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2014. He was born February 18,1956 and grew up in Corrales, N.M. At the young age of 10, Byron was credited with saving his younger siblings when there was a fire in the family home. He remained close to his family and always remembered birthdays and anniversaries with special notes and phone calls. Byron graduated from West Mesa High School and thoroughly enjoyed studying astronomy. He often talked about one of his fondest life adventures when he hitchhiked across the country to Florida and back. Embracing life to its fullest, Byron loved riding motorcycles, going to the mountains and attending rock concerts. He had a quick wit and loved being funny. Byron will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, especially his family. He is survived by his lifelong girlfriend, Suzanne Jaqua of Albuquerque; Joseph Shealy and Edward Shealy (Cristi) of Corrales; Mary Shealy Sechser (Thomas) of Folsom, CA; Jacqueline Sechser of San Francisco; and Michelle Sechser of Oklahoma City.
