PEEL, JACK Jack Peel, hiker extraordinaire, and Trail Watch Volunteer for Open Space of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He is survived by his much loved wife, Regina. He is also survived by his favorite relatives, sisters-in-law Maureen Marcilla and Rebecca Peel; brother-in-law Gerald Foley; nieces and nephews Regina and Eric Trujillo, Sam and Grace McCoy, Joe and Elizabeth Marcilla, Fernando and Kate Marcilla, Courtney Hallman, John and Sherry Foley, Elizabeth and Michael Carracini, and Peter and Lauren Foley. Jack was born in Galesburg, IL to Kenneth and Thora Peel. He was a graduate of the University of Denver and worked for Continental Airlines and Zeon Signs. Jack was a cheerful, very positive man. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends. May God bless and keep you, Jack. A Memorial celebrating Jack's life will be held at a later date.
