SMITH, ROBERT B. "BOB" JR. (LT. COL. USAF) (RET.) Age 82, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born on April 8, 1932 in Seattle, WA. He is survived by four children, Shannon, Kelley, Scott and Brooke; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four cousins; two nephews; and a companion of many years, Darlene Bohlken. He is also survived by special friends the Madrid Family, Gerald, Robynn and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerene and Robert Smith, Sr.; and a brother, Edwin. "Bob" served his country in the United States Air Force as a pilot. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He ended his pilot career after 28 years of service, as a Lt. Col. Following retirement from the military; he became a commercial artist in California. He loved the California sun, golfing, art and animals. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested to make donations to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
