VANCE, IRL MAC Irl Mac Vance, 71, of Elephant Butte, New Mexico passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Irl is survived by wife, Jane Vance of Albuquerque; son Chad Irl Vance of Albuquerque; daughter Crickett; son-in-law Devin Cannady; grandsons Reese and Chase of Albuquerque; and brother Robert L Vance Jr of Farmington. His parents Robert Luke (Curly) and Peggy Vance and his sister Betty Jean Mangham, preceded him in death. He was named after Dr. Irl R. Hicks and was an organ and tissue donor. Irl served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Sandia National Labs for over 37 years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 1:00pm with reception to follow at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE. His family and friends will forever remember him and he will be dearly missed.
