MACK, ALICE Alice Lovenberg Mack, age 84, formally of Browns Valley, California, passed away at Gentiva Hospice on April 3rd in Albuquerque, New Mexico following a brief illness. She was born on August 2, 1929 in Morristown, New Jersey to Ernest and Alma Lovenberg. One of twelve children, Alice grew up in Morristown where she graduated from high school in 1949. In 1952 she married J.B. Mack in Morristown. They were married for 62 years. As an Air Force family they traveled all over the U.S. and Okinawa. After retiring from the Air Force they lived in California and Mississippi before moving to Browns Valley. Recently they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Alice enjoyed camping, bowling, gardening, water skiing, buying shoes and raising chickens. She loved her pets and loved to people-watch. Alice is survived by her spouse, J.B., her oldest sister, Ida Hawks, living in Maryland; and brother Theodore Lovenberg, living in New Jersey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine of her siblings. A private visitation will be held at Reflections Funerals and Life Celebrations, 2400 Washington Sr. N.E., Albuquerque, NM at 1:00 PM on April 12th.
