LUCERO, GEORGE M. age 71, a resident of Marquez, NM, passed away, Sunday, April 6, 2014. Mr. Lucero is survived by his beloved wife of twenty seven years, Viola; sons, Brian Lucero and wife, DeeDee, Pete Baros and wife, Tina, Gino Baros and Trish, Ben Baros and wife, Yvette, Vincent Baros and wife, Danielle; brothers, Rueben Lucero and wife, Flora, Elmer Lucero, Celestino Lucero, Clarence Lucero and wife, Darlene; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; special friends, Richard and Priscilla Lopez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Lucero was preceded in death by his parents, Mariano and Perfecta Lucero; daughter, Bernadette; sisters, Perfilia and Carmen; sister in law, Frances Lucero.. Visitation will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8310 Camino San Martin SW.
