LAMONDE, MAURICE "MOE" In loving memory of Maurice "Moe" Lamonde age 65, a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, who unexpectedly passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara; children, Trey, Cory, and Mikael Ann; granddaughter, Isabella; brother from another mother, Al Lujan and wife, Kathy; and numerous other relatives and many friends. Moe was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Loretta Lamonde. He was born in 1949 in New Bedford, MA and after graduating from high school, he drove his VW to Portales where he attended Eastern New Mexico University. He obtained his BS in Computer Science. Moe then moved to Albuquerque where he joined the financial community. He was very active in the community and loved to ski and golf. Moe's first love was Barbara. His passion was his family and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held Friday, April 11, 2014, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 12, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, followed by a reception to celebrate Moe's life.
