APODACA, CARMEN age 71. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014. A beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Sister, she is survived by her two daughters, Michaelann Apodaca, and Nina Ortega. Her son Jim Apodaca Jr. and his wife Jennifer Gonzales. Three grandchildren, Marcus Ortega and his spouse Jazlyn Urbano, Jordan Apodaca, Desiree Apodaca and her spouse Patricia Apodaca. Four great-grandchildren, Adalyn Ortega, Orius Urbano, Angelique and Sophia Escarsega. Two brothers, Ernie Sanchez and his spouse Pauline Sanchez, Lawrence Sanchez and his spouse Dolores Sanchez. One sister, Juliet Cordova and her spouse Bill Cordova. Carmen is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Services will be held at Queen of Heaven Church, located at 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, beginning with a Rosary on Thursday, March 6th at 7pm and a Mass on Friday, March 7th at noon.
