HAWKINS, PAUL MADISON age 33, long-time Albuquerque resident died Monday, December 2, 2013 from an extended illness. He was born April 4, 1980. He is survived by his children, Alex Hawkins (14) and Mary Jane Hawkins (10); his parents, James L. Hawkins, Jr. and Linda Cottrill Hawkins; his brother, Brian Hawkins; grandfather, Richard M. Cottrill, and extended family. He is also survived by his best friend of 30 years, Eric Soto. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Carter Dahl Hawkins; grandparents, Zona Betty Cottrill, Jean Schweitzer Hawkins, and James L. Hawkins, Sr. He was a journeyman plumber and pipefitter. In peace, he will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. The immediate family will hold a private burial service. A memorial service will be scheduled for the future.
