CONGLETON, MARVIN LESLIE age 83, born on July 9, 1930 in Wilson County, North Carolina and passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. Marvin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pauline Congleton; his sons, Byron Congleton and spouse, Gloria, Meredith Congleton and spouse, Joan; daughter, Paula Congleton and spouse, Allison; one brother, Herman Congleton; one sister, Ann Congleton; four grandchildren; one great grandchild as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Marvin served in the U.S. Air Force, at Kirtland Air Force Base. On June 7, 1952 he married Frances Pauline. After retiring from the Air Force, "Marvelous Marv" became a member of the operating engineers and also served as a drummer in the Ballut Abyad Shriner Band. Marvin was a loving father, husband, grandpa and friend to all. A special thank you to the Albuquerque V.A. Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the loving care they gave our Dad.
