GARDUNO, FELISA R age 92, passed away on November 21, 2013 at the Skies Health Care and Rehab Center in Albuquerque. Felisa was born on May 11, 1921 in Amarillo, TX to the home of Juan and Francisca (Lopez) Rodriguez. She worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in Amarillo for 7 years before moving to Vaughn in 1951. She married Graciano Garduno in 1956 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Amarillo. Felisa was a member of St. Mary's Church in Vaughn, she loved playing solitaire, cooking and watching TV. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Graciano, her sisters, Esperanza, Lorenza, Francisca, Julia and Ramona her brothers Pasqual and Joe. Survivors include her daughters, Frances Apodaca and husband Ralph of Fort Worth, TX, Mercy Pomikal of Albuquerque, her sons, Sam Cruz of Littleton, CO, Graciano Garduno, Jr. of Saugus, CA and Steve Garduno of Vaughn. Also surviving is her sister in law Isabel Rodriguez of Corpus, Christi, TX, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Sunday, November 24, at 6:00 from St. Mary's Church in Vaughn. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 25 also from St. Mary's Church with Father Paul Nkumbi officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn. Serving as Pallbearers will be Larry Ballin, Rodney Apodaca, Mark Apodaca, Gonzalo Ballin and Ricky Ballin. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Juan Alvidez and Glenn Giordano.
