CAVIGGIA, BURDENE Burdene, 74, of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 after a brief illness with cancer. She was born September 7, 1939, in Gallup, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Doris Caviggia; and her baby brother, Johnny Lee Caviggia. She is survived by her three children: Randy Johnson of Albuquerque; Maredi Salaz of Albuquerque; and Robert (Paula) Johnson of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren: Zeke (Jessica) Salaz of Carlsbad, NM; Gabriel Salaz of Albuquerque, NM; Joshua Karper of Boulder, CO; Naomi Johnson of Tucson, AZ; and two great- grandchildren: Ivan Chavez and Zoie Rose Salaz. Burdene will always be remembered for the love of music she brought to her family and others who knew her. She will remain in the hearts of all who knew her as a very loving and caring woman who shared her life with so many.
