SUMMEY, DRUCILLA (DRU) G. Dru, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, died peacefully Tuesday evening, 10/15/2013 after living the last ten years in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Grady L. Summey; daughter, Mary Ann Summey; grandson, Richard J. Summey; brother, George Griego (Bea); and sister, Celia G. Romero (J. Mike). She was born in Belen, New Mexico on May 16, 1923 to Beltran Baca (BB) Griego and Elvira Chavez de Griego. Dru is survived by her two sons, Rick (Vivian) Summey and John (Karen) Summey; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Summey, Andrew (Karla) Summey, Tim (Rachel) Summey, Jessica Summey, Justin Summey, Jarrett Summey and Jordan Summey; ten Summey great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Noam, Eden, Liora, Lowell, Luke, Asher, Ansel, Amelia and Rosen; brothers, Alex (Linda) Griego and Edwin (Regina) Griego; and a close sister-in-law, Dorothy (Dot) Sanford of Cartersville, Georgia. Dru was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who live throughout the US and New Mexico. Contributions may be made in Dru's memory to the charity of your choice. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Dru's life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:30 pm at FRENCH-University Chapel, with visitation prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
