PARKS, WILLIAM JOSEPH Age 49, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for the past 20 years and previously of Needham, MA, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born in Boston, MA on September 3, 1964, to Dr. William and Jane (Conway) Parks. William graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in Boston, MA in 1982 and Providence College in Providence, RI with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration. He was a Certified Public Accountant with J. Nick Leitch and Co. of Albuquerque, NM. A parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he enjoyed playing the guitar, music, golfing and computers. He devoted most of his time to his home and family and was so very proud to be a very active part of his son's activities, especially football. William will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. William is survived by wife, Valerie Parks, of Albuquerque, NM; son, Brian J. Parks of Albuquerque, NM; parents, Dr. William J. and Jane Parks of Needham, MA; siblings, Kathleen Parks of Needham, MA, Philip (Ann) Parks of Abington, MA, Jacqueline (John) Mullowney of West Newton, MA, Stephen (Sarah) Parks of Bellingham, MA, Richard (Kendra) Parks of Bridgewater, MA, Amy (Robert) Mosher of Franklin, MA, Robert (Emily) Parks of Sudbury, MA; godsons, Joshua Thurn, Matthew Martinez, and Phillip Martinez; father-in-law, David J. Thurn of Albuquerque, NM; mother-in-law, Priscilla Thurn of Bernalillo, NM, sister-in-law, Jean Thurn of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who mourn his passing. Viewing and Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, also on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho with Father Robert Peccatiello, Celebrant. Burial will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho following the service. Pallbearers will be Philip Parks, Stephen Parks, Richard Parks, Robert Parks, Joshua Thurn, Stacey Tarro.
