MARTINEZ, MICHAEL PEDRO Age 53, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on Monday, September 30, 2013. Michael was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Isotopes fan with a passion for the Albuquerque lowrider culture and community. Michael had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous nature and a compassionate heart. He will be deeply missed. Michael is survived by his wife, Nissa Martinez; four siblings, Cynthia Martinez Davis and husband Earl, Andrew Martinez and wife Brenda, Rodger Martinez, Paul Martinez and wife Rita; five children, Michelle Martinez, Mikie Martinez, Melanie Montoya, Anthony Martinez and Mariah Martinez; five grandchildren, Danny, Damian, Nelia, Envy and Elias. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Drive SW, followed by a potluck reception at the American Legion Post 100, 424 Candelaria Rd NW.
