MONTANO, BONNIE M. 1925-2013 Bonnie M. Montao, age 88, a resident of Adelino and Las Cruces, NM passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Saint Genevieve's Catholic Church. Bonnie retired from Sandia Laboratories where he worked for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Antonia Sanchez Montao; son, Feliciano Montao; and infant daughter, Florela Montao. Bonnie is survived by his daughter, Filomena Rigales; grandchildren, Emilio III, Luciano and Adrianna and Antonia Rigales, Philip and Jackie and Roger Montao; great-grandchildren, Jacob Rigales, Mario, Norene, Carlos and Zachary Montao; sister, Rita Martinez; nephew, John Martinez and many other nephews and nieces; The Padilla family; caregivers, Ana and Patsy; and many other family members and friends. All services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, on Monday, September 30, beginning with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jose Hernandez presiding. Interment will follow at Tome Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Emilio Rigales III, Luciano Rigales, Philip Montao, Mario Montao, Carlos Montao and John Martinez.
