MCCLUNG, THOMAS EARL Age 80, passed away in his sleep after a long illness on Thursday, July 25, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Floyd, NM on December 5, 1932 to Roy and Ethyl McClung. He lived most of his life in Albuquerque, with moves to Hawaii and Texas. Thomas attended Eastern New Mexico University where he met his bride of 60 years, Fern Miller. He is survived by four children; daughters - Vicki Carr, Marla Carr (husband Kevin Carr), Lori Nutter (husband Scott Nutter); and son Scott McClung; brother Wayne; and the delights and joy of his life, seven grandchildren, Tasha Buttery (husband Justin), Kacey Carr (wife Bethany), Kody Carr (wife Katie), Lyndsey McClung, Tommy Nutter, Joey Nutter, and T. J. Nutter; five great-granddaughters, Olivia, Myca and Mia Buttrey, Sakora and Kaleah Carr. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Sagebrush Community Church-Riverside campus in the Kids building, 2nd floor, room 417 at 6440 Coors Blvd., NE 87120 on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., followed by an informal open house. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice.
