SMYTH, DOROTHY LILLIAN Age 79, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leo R. Smyth; son, Robert Smyth and wife, Sonya of Albuquerque, Larry Smyth of Edgewood; & daughter, Kathleen Walsh and husband, John of Edgewood; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin and Grace Lillian (Ruppe) Johnson, as well as her brothers and sister, Joe and Bill Johnson, Tom and Claude Spindle and Helen Chavez. Dorothy loved music, participating in singing, playing and directing church music her entire life. She had a passion for flowers, owning and operating two successful flower shops in Albuquerque. She enjoyed her home and yard "Willow Gardens".
