KRAEMER, WILLIAM LEWIS Age 62, of Albuquerque, NM died on June 30, 2013 in Bucharest, Romania due to complications of a compromised immune system. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma April of 2012. He continued to live life to the fullest until the very end, present with each moment, accepting, and with an open heart. In the words of his favorite musician, Bob Dylan, "Death is not the end." He lives in the love that he gave to each person in his life. He treated all people fairly and lived without judgment. He loved music - traveling all over the world to see his favorite performers - the biggest one being Bob Dylan. He played "Kraemer volleyball" every Sunday with his family for 57 years! He was Santa Claus to many Albuquerque children. Bill worked in land use and development for over 30 years, helping developers and regular folks navigate City and County regulations. He was a passionate neighborhood activist, always helping to negotiate endless details. With whatever Bill participated in, he was thoughtful, challenging, and followed through. He lightened spirits with his humor. He was and is still an inspiration to many. He is survived by his wife, Marylou; his daughter, Jessie; stepchildren, Sarah and Jeremy; sister, Paula; brother-in-law Bill Eglinton; niece Amy Keller, her husband Matt and their children Jack, Chase and Lauren; niece Carrie Eglinton Manner, her husband Derek and their children Macy and Wyatt; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a limitless number of friends. Bill was known for feeding people. He fed friends, loved ones and family with food, music, travel, wise words and stories. Please join the family on July 13 at Old Town Farms from 4:00pm to 7:00pm to celebrate his life and be fed again in his honor. In the words of another poet, Michelle Shocked, "A burden shared is only half a trouble. Joy that's shared is joy made double." luluzulukrae.wix.com/ celebratebillkraem7
