RAIMONDI, CARMELO JOHN was born on January 26, 1936 in New York City, New York and passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Albuquerque at the age of 77. Carmelo was a retired teacher, retiring from the Albuquerque Public Schools. As well he Honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Raimondi; father, Salvatore Raimondi and brother, Joseph Raimondi. He is survived by his wife, Rose Raimondi; sons, Martin Raimondi and wife, Linda, John Raimondi and wife, Shannon; daughter, Bernadette Rangel; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at the Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St.(Alameda) N.W. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 9:00am. Burial to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45pm with U.S. Army Honors.
