MONTOYA, JOE ROSENALDO Age 67, born February 20, 1946 in San Juan, NM, a resident of Denver, CO, passed away on April 18, 2013. Mr. Montoya is survived by his children, Martin Montoya, Dawn Montoya, Joseph Montoya and wife, Hyun-Joo; sisters, Mary Ann Saavedra, Minelba Abeyta, Mary Lou Duran and husband, Robert, Mary Saavedra; brother, Chris Montoya and wife, Darlene; grandchildren, Isaias Medrano and Sean Montoya; his aunt, Maria Miller; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joe was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving two tours during the Vietnam Era, and a member of the Seabee's Unit. Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of the Ressurection to be celebrated at St. Therese of Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 4th St. NW at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service is scheduled at the Santa Fe National Cemetery time and date to be announced. Pallbearers will be Martin Montoya, Joseph Montoya, Robert Duran, Mark Duran, Eric Duran, and Leonard Abeyta. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawn Montoya and Minelba Abeyta.
