JENNINGS, BARBARA JEAN Age 79, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013. Barbara was born in Albuquerque and spent most of her 79 years in Albuquerque including the last 45. She helped her husband run several successful small businesses and she was a lifelong homemaker. She had a love for animals, reading and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Centers and Leita Smith; her husband of 55 years, Ray S. Jennings; a daughter, Jean Newton and a sister Helen Lester. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Jerry Jennings and wife, Shyrel and Jack Jennings and wife, Debby; son-in-law Bob Newton; four grandchildren, Melissa, Mark, Caleb and Quintin; three great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Jocelyn and Leonardo; brother, Carl Centers Jr. The family would like to express their gratitude to mom's friend and helpful neighbor Jose Salazar.
