OWENS, JIM age 76, passed away March 28, 2013. He leaves behind his wife, Georgie, and children: Terri Owens-Sweetland (husband Mark), Farrell Lee Owens, Debra Baca (husband Jess) and Rhonda Rhoades (husband Aubyn); his grandchildren: Charles Owens (wife Christina), Justine Garcia (husband Mark), Randilyn Baca, Aubyn D. and Taylor Rhoades; great-grandchildren: Anthony and Aspen Owens and Stella Garcia. He lived his life overcoming many challenges and had a wonderful sense of humor. He encouraged each of us to be strong and to be the best we could be. He loved being a sports fan, cooking, and fishing. He taught us the importance of hard work and he had a big heart for those battling addictions, poverty and hunger. That heart gave out and sent him on to God and his precious Jesus Christ and the home prepared for him in heaven. Goodbye, Daddy. Goodbye, Grandpa. Thank you.
