VILLEGAS, IRINEO S. age 87, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 31, 2013. Mr. Villegas is survived by children, Esperanza Sauceda and husband, Ernest, Maria Candelaria and husband, Bill, Jose Villegas, Carlos Villegas and wife, Sally, Jaime Villegas and wife, Anna Maria, Anna Tapia and husband, Mark; brothers and sisters, Refugio Garay, Guadalupe Ulibarri, Javier Villegas, Eulalia Navarette and husband, Luis, Rosario Sanchez, Sister Josephine Villegas, Celia Herrera and husband, Emiliano; sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Villegas was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Herrera Villegas; Godson, Santiago Sauceda; daughters, Maria and Irene Villegas; parents, Jose de la Luz and Juanita Villegas; brothers and sisters, Agustin Villegas, Adelaida Campos, and Rafael Villegas. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Abran Villegas, Michael Sauceda, Lorenzo Sauceda, Diego Villegas, Pedro Villegas, and Andrew Villegas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Villegas, Billy Candelaria and Adam Candelaria. At the request of Mr. Villegas, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission.
