GARCIA, EFREN (FRED) age, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 30, 2013 at home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Senaida; children, Angie Garcia and husband, Chris Aragon; Sonya Davalos and husband, Julian, Efren (Freddie) Garcia; grandchildren, Lynda, Renee, Vanessa, Joanna, Angel and Anthony; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Josie, Cathy, and Geraldine; brother, Michael; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Garcia; son, Gabriel; brother, David (Eppie). Fred was a member of the Catholic Church, a retired Albuquerque Firefighter, member of Charms and Roadrunners Band, was the wrestling Coach for Rio Grande High School and Albuquerque High School Teams. Fred was also the recipient of the Outstanding Citizen of the South Valley and was nominated again this year. Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment of cremains will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
