MASSICK, ELAINE R. died peacefully on January 29, 2013. She is greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She was born on March 14, 1934 in Kane, PA, the only child of C. Bruce and Ruth Orwig Riddell, graduated from high school in Tupper Lake, NY and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1955 from Wells College in Aurora, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Massick and granddaughter Kristin Griego. She is survived by daughters Martha Griego, Kathleen Packer, and Jeanne Baker and husband Eddie; son Steve Massick; brother-in-law George Massick and family; grandchildren Jeremy Griego and wife Corrin, Ryan Packer, Erica Packer, Brandon Baker, and Katrina Baker; and great-grandson Ronan Griego. Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, a celebration of life will be held at the home of her daughter. Please contact a family member to get further details.
