STAMPS, WILLIE FAYE Willie Faye Broadnax Stamps, born on April 2, 1931 passed away on January 17, 2013 at UNMH due to a lengthy illness. Willie was born to Robert and Edna Broadnax in Burkburnett, Texas as the second to the youngest child. Willie married Staff Sgt. Bennie James Stamps in October 1958 in Albuquerque, NM. Willie was a tech aide at BCMC where she retired after 32 years of service. Willie enjoyed sewing, crocheting and puzzles, but most of all cooking. Willie gave to several charities, ASPCA, Children's Network, Diabetes and Joy Junction. Willie was preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings and one granddaughter. She is survived by her husband and her children, Willie E. Warren, Ernest L. Bishop, Shauna P. Stamps and Belva G. Stamps. Three granddaughters, Elaine Brooks, Rushaen Calhoun and Rushay Wortham and grandsons, James Stamps-Young and Ray Larocque; One great granddaughter and three great grand sons. Willie Faye will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A visitation will be held on January 23, 2013 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Willie Faye will be put to rest on January 23, 2013 at 1:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Carlisle Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Willie's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
