JOHNSON, DENICE M. born on February 27, 1948 in Kodoka, South Dakota and passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 in Albuquerque, at the age of 64. Denice Honorably served in the US Army, where she was an Army Nurse from, 1970 to 1973. From 1973 to 1987 she worked as a Nurse at VA Medical Centers, then went on provided in home nursing from 1987 to 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lorena Polenz of Hill City. SD. Denice is survived by her son, Travis W. Johnson; sisters, Phyllis Hanson of Rapid City. SD. and Elaine; brother, Brad Polenz SD.; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4301 Atrisco Dr. NW. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
