PUTMAN, WENDELL ARGENE Age 83, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec 16, 2012. Argene was born in Carlsbad, NM, on August 17, 1929. After living for a time in the Long Beach, CA area, Putman moved his family back to Albuquerque's South Valley in 1974 where he remained until his passing. He was married to Darlene Putman for 42 years before she passed away in September 2011. The couple had two daughters, Kaylene Putman Fornoff, Thousand Oaks, CA, and Karece Putman, Rio Rancho. Argene was a proud Teamster and worked and drove for Navajo/ABF Co. for more than 45 years. He retired in 1997. He loved loading up the family in their camper for their annual summer road trips. He also loved boating at New Mexico's lakes, and he also shot a mean game of pool. Friends will remember best his unselfishness. He never hesitated to help others. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name be made to PACA of Albuquerque or Joy Junction.
