DAVIS, CHRISTOPHER age 43, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died unexpectedly on September 30, 2012. He accomplished a great deal in his short life - played AYSO soccer and with the Rio Grande Soccer club; graduated from Freedom High, served in the U.S. Army in the First Gulf war, was honorably discharged and became a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. He is survived by his parents Marge Davis of Albuquerque, Robert Davis; siblings Stacie Davis of Albuquerque, Denise Krieg of Commerce, Georgia, and Phillip Davis of Albuquerque; a niece, three nephews and his beloved dog May Day. He will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on October 11, 2012, at 2:15 PM. A memorial at the Veteran's Memorial Park is pending and notification will be sent out later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Basket of Hope/Albuquerque, P.O. Box 31152, Abq., 87190-1152. Chris will be deeply missed but he is at peace with his Savior and no longer in pain.
