GALLEGOS -- FRANCES age 103, died July 22, 2012 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was born January 29, 1909, in Garcia Plaza, Clayton, New Mexico to Bonifacio and Elosia Garcia. She married Natividad E. Gallegos April 29, 1927 and they had 12 children. Frances is survived by eight children, Frances, Chris, Manuel, Dan, Elizabeth, George, Linda and Yvonne; fifty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and four children, Alfonso, Rudy, Dolores and Robert. Frances and her family moved to Albuquerque in 1957. She was in good health and always very astute. Frances had recently been relocated to Ft. Worth. Her last wish was that her interment be in Clayton where she was born. Frances loved her home, family, travel, gardening, swimming, dancing, TV gameshows and chocolate candy. Her son George was fortuitous in being her care provider, and buddy for many years. He provided her with quality time. On Saturdays he took her to garage sales, to breakfast and then for an ice-cream cone. Sundays he took her to her Senior Citizen dances where she never sat out a dance. He often bought her flowers and candy. He loved to surprise her. She loved to laugh and enjoyed life to its fullest. She enjoyed peace and harmony in her life. Frances was a very classy woman, class personified. She was full of life and in many ways larger than life itself. She was truly a walking miracle. Frances was a God send, the pillar of her family and they were blessed and privileged to have been raised by such a precious, resourceful mother. They were doubly blessed to have had her with them for so long. Frances will be missed and forever revered, cherished and celebrated. Special thanks to those who were always so kind and generous to her and a very special thanks to Chris, for providing his parents with a home they cherished.
